About our founder.

Having originally trained in automotive design, Max brings extensive experience of working with leading brands in the luxury sector as a lead designer and as a strategic design leader in larger organisations. His specialism is in creating groundbreaking and innovative products and services, including as a freelance watch designer to the global watch industry.

His focus on the luxury industry, built environment, and products with high mechanical complexity, has provided our studio the opportunity to design products and related brand experiences for a variety of companies in sectors including wearables, jewellery, interiors, transport, mobility, energy, and industrial products.

Taking products from concept through to launch he has experience in developing brand strategies, and is adept at using design to turn insights into growing businesses based on real customer needs, new technical possibilities, and business viability. A large amount of our studio’s work focuses on helping those who want to start a watch brand with their design and strategy projects, as well as others creating new businesses across multiple sectors.
